A guilty pleasure is something one considers pleasurable despite feeling guilt for enjoying it. Often, the "guilt" involved is simply fear of others discovering one's lowbrow or otherwise embarrassing tastes, rather than actual moral guilt. Run For Covers isn't a guilty pleasure. As a 'concept' band, R4C does it's best to stay away from the 'run-of-the-mill' songs that most cover bands continue to wear out - all while remaining completely mainstream. We have all been caught in our cars, or the shower, singing along to the latest Teen pop hits - or find overly mind numbing electro-beats sticking in our heads for hours and hours. Run For Covers takes those songs we love to hate - and gives them a firm kick directly in the pant nuggets - beefing them up to bring the rock. Blended with a fun mixture of one-hit wonders, dance-ready versions of your favorite 'i hope no one is watching me dance to this' songs, as well as classics form the world of indie rock, 90's radio, 80's... well.. 80's.... and more - all wrapped up in a high energy balls of unbelievable handsomeness.
